Taxi Travel

Taxi rates vary widely because they're unregulated, but the taxi companies listed here charge around $2 per mile plus an initial pickup fee of $10 from the airport. It's always wise to inquire about the cost before getting into a cab. It should be about $30 from the airport to central Tucson. AAA Sedan transports travelers in a little more comfort (in Lincoln Town Cars or SUVs) for a little more money (the rate into central Tucson is $40). VIP Taxi and Yellow Cab dispatchers and drivers speak English and Spanish.
